I just had a chance to listen to the show from yesturday June 25th. Man these people that you mentioned that called and sent you emails are very lost and blinded by satan. Don't they read in the Bible where it talks about homosexuality is a sin or worse an abomination. For instance:

Romans 1:26-27 "For this reason God allowed their shameful passions to control them. Their women have exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. Likewise, their men have given up natural sexual relations with women and burn with lust for each other. Men commit indecent acts with men, so they experience among themselves the punishment they deserve for their perversion."

Here Paul underscores that homosexuality relations, like all sexual intimacy out side of marriage, are displeasing to God.

Like other sins that he lists in Romans 1:28-31, it is an offense against God's law:

Lev. 18:22; 20:13 "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Lev. 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

It is a twisting of the good gift of martial intimacy that God created for both procreation and enjoyment within heterosexual marriage:

Gen 1:27-28 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

I have a question, if the Bible says that God created man in His own image and the homosexuals say that they were born like they are, does that mean that God is/was gay, a homosexual? I would have to say not. God said He created male and female, Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Now come on. Then He tells us in His word that we are to "multiply, and replenish the earth" so how are two males or even two females suppose to multiply, have children unless they adopt or have artificial insimination (females that is), but that is not the natural way, God's way.

Gen. 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

Prov. 5:15-19 "Drink water from your own well- share your love with only your wife. Why spill the water of your springs in the streets, having sex with just anyone? You should reserve it for yourselves. Never share it with stranders. Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for ou. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. She is a loving deer, a graceful doe. Let her breast satisfy ou always. May you always be captivated by her love."NLT

Mat. 19:4-6 “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

By the time Paul wrote Romans, he had observed gays becoming obedient to the Christian faith (see 1Cor.)

Homosexuality, like premarital or extramarital sexual sin, is not unpardonable. They would have to repent, turn away from that old man and live a new life as God intended for us too live.

The life-giving force that raised Jesus from the dead can empower victims of both homosexual and heterosexual enslavements to break sin's chains and live pure lives that honor God:

Romans 8:11 "It stands to reason, doesn't it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he'll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ's!" (The Message Bible)

The modern tendencies condone homosexuality is a denial of God's creation, His law, and His power through Christ's cross to loosens the grip of sin.

Yes, some people do feel a strong attraction to the gay lifestyle, just as others feel trapped by illicit heterosexual desire.

But is sin's stranglehold on the human will greater than God's liberating grace?

The Bible's answer is clearly no!

Even if the temptation to sexual sin involves fierce struggles, God's grace insists that we make an immediate and complete break with sinful deeds.

God's Word is best even when it seems difficult.

It is wrong of course, to single out gay offenders as worse sinners than others.

Yet without softening the harsh verdict that Scripture delivers on both homosexuals and heterosexuals sin, divine forgiving and the higher road of moral fidelity to a good and caring God need to be proclaimed in both true word and gracious deed.
